whenever I'm feeling blue, I just listen to radio365.com, a station there called turnmeondeadman. That's pretty good. Psych pop and rock from the last 40 years.

I don't know where you are from man, and so whether or not it's stating the obvious to suggest going to http://www.bbc.co.uk, clicking on the 'radio' button at the top, and then going to Radio 1 (general mainstream pop, but also the famous John Peel show), 1 extra (what we call here 'urban' music), or 6 music (more rock, more 'serious', more archive than Radio 1)...you can listen live, or to selected shows broadcast over previous week on all stations. Folks moan about having to have real player to get bbc, but, well what cn you do?

http://www.radio1190.org Great college station from the University of Colorado. They have a great shoegaze/space rock show on Wednesday nights. In fact, Blue Cathedral was their album of the month for August.

I'll back up Will This Do for Turn Me On Dead Man. It's fantastic. Elevators, Spacemen, Prunes, Darkside, Love, Brian Jonestown Massacre etc

(although it won't play Middle Of The Road)

Another one I listen to while tapping away in the glow of my computer screen is http://www.bluegrasscountry.org - obviously you have to like country to be into this, but there's no modern day horrors, just oldie traditional stuff. Very laid back presentation.
