Hello,
I don't know if this has been suggested or done before but here goes:
I sometimes thing it's a little overwhelming to be recommended album after album and band after band, so how about recommending a single song....
Abandon preconceptions and 'things you've read' and decide to engage headphones or otherwise with this one recommendation for the duration of the piece. (I might even suggest, sitting still & closing your eyes and really focusing on the music & not the visual connections).

Yeah, hammock are ace. Their whole take on ambient shoegaze with its kinda 80s sound really takes me back to the first time i heard this mortal coil / blade runner soundtrack etc I'd definitely recommend checking out 'kenotic', (and if you like that the 'raising your voice..' album). I wasnt a fan of the last one, but based on this new track I'm excited about the new album...which should be out next month i think.
