Don't know if this has been posted before, but a rather nice thing on Vimeo. And he smiles! Lots!

Thanks for posting that - it's great. That gig must have been recorded and filmed. Why no live release eh?

Man, that was great! I love how uncharacteristically excited Jason looks. He's almost "giddy".

there are at least 5 absolutely cracking, top drawer Spz gigs from post-LICD that could/should have been put out officially. ity's been too far a stretch between RAH & the next live album, especially considering the ground Spz have covered this past decade.

thinkin back on the last 10 or so years atm & actually this band has had quite an exciting story that's been told. a lot has gone down in the Spz world. been a good decade for them i reckon, pneumonia n all..
gonna burn brightly

Great film, thanks for sharing.
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

That was great. Newer renditions of "Shine A Light" and "Sound Of Confusion" were positively magical. Jason is a true lover and a believer in soul/ blues/ r&b music--that's always came across in the music, I think. When he said "you can't use the same gear as Phil Spector to get the same results...." it reminded me alot of an interview in Chart Magazine in 1997--"you can't go into the same studio as Al Green and get an album as good as his".
