Good Albums Coming Soon?

Post by TheWarmth »

Here's what I have my TV eye on:

Gruff Rhys vs. Tony da Gatorra: The Terror of Cosmic Loneliness (July 26)
Clientele, The ~ Minotaur(August 31)
Dungen ~ Skit I Allt (September 14)
Clinic ~ Bubblegum(October 4th)
Violens ~ Amoral(October)

Has anyone heard the new Sadies album, Darker Circles? I'm hesitant to spend $20 on the LP without at least one good recommendation.

Hopefully the new Radiohead will be released this year, too. Then we'll really have something to argue about!

According to an interview last year, it should be out end of this year. Not much from the robots since. Even though it's basically only 1 member of Kraftwerk, it's bound to be at least great.

I love the first 2 Arcade Fire album records, but the songs I've heard off this new one are pish. I hope it changes my mind when it's out, I would hate for them to get shit.

i got that general impression too, but the initial reports seem very positive:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/nm4z

http://thequietus.com/articles/04666-ar ... ack-review

"And all the while the glorious synthesis of music lies somewhere perfect between Spiritualized and ELO"

I'm not a huge fan of the band, but that sounds pretty enticing!
