Thought you'd all be desperate to hear this very exciting story, but it does raise some important questions, what sort of dog is it, and what is its name? Laika maybe? [The name of the first dog in space, apparently] But after that I'm struggling to think of any dog names with a space pun. Can anyone in contact with Jason find out the name of his dog? I know he likes his privacy, but surely he'd share his dog's name for the smash hits section of the forum?
