Those look great. If anyone attending the show would be willing to snag one for me, that'd be cool.

Out of interest;

what is the wave tone/generated signal image? Anyone know...short of loading LAGWAFIS into Acid and scanning for a few days...

Just curious

Helmut Lang is a Gooooood name, isn't it.

Think they're meant to echo the catheters used on the A&E era artwork.

Ahh the catheters...

Cheers for that...I was startin' to see Storm-Troopers looking at the white one for too long.

$80 isn't too bad to be honest. I've paid more for Maharishi T-shirts (sucker for the embroidered ones) but can understand that at the end of the day it's a band t-shirt. What's it printed on/with?

Of course it's elitist; that's the how the product will sell.
It's no different to a run/pressing of a few hundred on coloured wax with hand-made paper sleeve and hand numbered with embossed glow in the dark edible piping.

I however would say that these t-shirts do not look £50.
Sure there is a quirky apron finish and a narrow shoulder but the design looks dull and the logo is well...the logo.
I'd have expected just a tiny amount of edible piping.

To be fair here is what was at the merch booth:
The $80 Helmut Lang shirt
The LAG blister pack shirt and box $30
And two fantatsic shirts done for the NYC show only at $20 each and they were on American Apparel shirts.
One just had the info from the poster(which was $40) and the other(of which there weren't many at all) was a cross between the Helmut Lang shirt and the one w/ all the show info on it. It looks exactly like the image on the homepage.
$20 for an American Apparel show t shirt was a bargain....I thought.
I bought one of each(and a few as gifts).

Here are pix of the $20 shirts:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=71 ... &ref=album

And

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=71 ... 8613285422

Were there special shirts for the UK shows?
I know if there was a large enough demand these NYC shirts could be reprinted.

That's a nice shirt - shame there was nothing as good for the UK shows. That's the version that totally sold out, isn't it?

The one w/the image of the soundwave sold out way before the show started.
I asked Spazed99 if the shirts would be reprinted and he said if there were enough demand they would.
Maybe a poll? I dunno how to gauge demand.
They are both high quality shirts.

Oooops - I thought that was the front and back of a single shirt!

Still like the sound wave one and would order one if it became available.

Definately want one (or two) of those. Glow in the dark would be cool too.

My personal favourite is the rarer style of those that said "Amazing Grace®" instead of Spaceman. Or "the one that Jason wears" as my mate always used to put it!

I think they were promo items in the States or something like that. Mine certainly came from there via eBay...

I just got mine. I squealed like a little girl when I saw that it had arrived! Yes, I'm the biggest asshole in the universe for paying almost $80 for a t-shirt, but it's fucking awesome! I'm not sure what kind of material it's made of but it's really smooth and silky. (That didn't sound quite right, did it?) Anyway, it's fucking beautiful.
