saw him at brmc's gigs. so sad news.
we can see him on the film martin scorsese's the last temtation of christ on which he appeared with his boy robert.

RIP... Saw The Call several times back in the day and of course at various BRMC gigs.

Been has quite a history going back to the late 60s IL psychedelic scene. He was in one of the incarnations of H.P. Lovecraft along with Aorta and a band with a couple Illinois Speed Press guys (forgetting the names right now)

Michael was a friend to me and I will miss him. I went to see 'his boys' last week on their tour in Holland to share in their grief and came back from it feeling stronger... they are making sure his spirit lives on.
