asked if he someday would consider playing with hawkwind again? - "not impossible at all" he said ten years ago

The bar is called JUMBOS CLOWN ROOM.

They play some good shit.

Isn't Jumbos the place that Courtney Love famously worked when she first moved to LA?

A friend of mine once witnessed the very same at a "gentleman's club", the Crystal Palace in Worcester, MA, Lemmy getting a lap dance.

Re: MOTORHEAD
Nice! Lemmy is one of the last of the true "til death" rockers out there. He's also one of the comparatively few people in a well known band that really truly seems like a fan of a ton of other people in the industry; almost putting them before his own band and accomplishments. There's no pretention on his end and he'll call something the way it is, but he's also championed a ton of bands.

Re: MOTORHEAD
I fucking love Motörhead. Just pure rock n' roll energy. Every year they play Glasgow around the same time (gig coming next month - 9th November at the Academy) and one of my brothers has been travelling down to see them every time for the last 9 years. It's now in his blood forever I think...
I saw them on the 2008 tour and it was awesome. This year is known as their 35th Anniversary Tour so hope to go and see them.
There's also a film been made about Lemmy - about time too.

Despite what his reputation may suggest he's a true gentleman - warm, funny, witty, and a self-depreciating rock n' roll magus. Long live Ian Fraser Kilminster.
Also responsible for an amazing and mostly underrated back catalogue of great music...

Hawkwind plummeted the moment he was sacked.
