Bump

So wish I could go to this!

Here's an interview from Japan Times (saw this on twitter).

From my better half and a couple of Japanese board members.

They found the the gig better then RAH back last Oct. Especially due to the band being stripped down.

Old tunes played:
TMTTOS / Rated X / Come Together
Rest was new songs.

Mary was really good!

Will post more as it comes in.

i obtained some info in addition to my memory.

setlist as follows;

Come Together
Cheapster
Hey Jane
Little Girl
Get What You Deserve
Heading For The Top
Oh Baby
Rated X
Too Late
I Am What I Am
Mary
So Long You Pretty Things
Take Me To The Other Side

Mark, i seemed to forget "Cheapster" and "Oh Baby". SHAME ON ME!

about rhythm in particular, some new songs were different arrangement.
i think those tracks became more beautifully.

well, Robo, where are you???

Stripped down how? I think the band sounds on fire during Cheapster into Shine A Light from the RAH show.

Without the orchestra, full on choir and extra bits and bobs they had. This had more of an Amazing Grace feel to it.

Get what you deserve was obviously different from the one at RAH, more droned and SP3-ish. And Oh baby, Rated X, Too Late and “our mighty” Mary were my personal favorites at that night. I really love to listen to the songs of Amazing Grace live.
Well, I recorded the show, but the quality was poor as usual.
I uploaded just two songs, Get what you deserve and Mary.

As I said the quality level is “not unbearable”. So just for the warm-up for the March gigs. I hope you feel the good vibes of the new songs.

What a relief to hear that. You're welcome. And yes, i really love that arrangement, too.
Multi wrote: I honestly don't understand how anyone wasn't over the top thrilled with the RAH gig. I've listened to that live boot consistently, and the encore section of Cheapster (my favorite version, ever) into Shine A Light (one of my favorite version now) is just unreal:
That's not complaining about the RAH gig. "Your favorite band sounds better than last year", what's wrong with that? :?

really really really i think so. i agree.
i wanted to dance there by those songs.
i think i should have gone to the arena without continuing sitting down on my seat at RAH.
