Leeds! Yes!

Er... Leeds Met. Let's hope they have learned something since my experience with Mark Lanegan's show there!

Warwick Arts Centre.. like the Leamington Assembly, pretty much on my doorstep. can't believe my luck.

the arts centre is not the most atmospheric of venues but the sound has always been superb whenever I've been to a gig there

Leeds Met is a bit of a shite venue, but at least I'll get to see this tour. :D
It's nice to be liked,
But it's better by far to get paid.

I just got my Sage tix too - chose the small standing area at the front, where are you?
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

Oh thank fuck! After my unfortunate luck with recent tour I'm signing up for Cambridge, London and Brighton. Also might go to Leeds if friends are going.

First row of the seats and center. Should be a fantastic spot.

Sounds like a great seat. I've just been looking on the Sage site and according to the seating chart it's still looks just under 50% sold, but it's noticeable how the majority of seats sold are on the right, on the right side to get the best view of Jason!

There are still loads of standing tix left - obviously Spz fans are getting tired in their old age. I preferred the standing partly so I can nip to the loo without bothering folks.

If I recall correctly the standing area is actually where the most forward part of the stage usually is for all seated gigs, so with a smaller stage it looks like it will be a regular electric gig, though that's fine with me.

Compared with the other venues on this leg of the tour it is by far the largest venue at 1700 (seated), though I see the balcony levels are not available to book, which is probably realistic. Whilst I expect the production will be up to the Sage's usual exceptional standards (especially the sound) the 7-piece ensemble could look a bit strange on stage in such a cavernous venue.

Given the excellent acoustic properties, here's hoping someone produces another excellent boot recording for the collection 8)

Unless the booking fees are outrageous, £20 seems very good value for a decent gig in a decent venue these days...

yeah you are probably right mate. it is a pretty good venue. booking fee is 50p :)

I managed to get standing tickets by selecting a balcony, then changing it to standing on the next screen

50p is a remarkably cheap booking fee - even the Sage charges £1.50 even if you go into the building and buy in person!
