Looks like at least on this leg it's going east to west, probably with somewhere in Colorado (Denver?) on the 4th. Must be a punishing schedule though, 500 miles between gigs. Would love to see some shows on this tour (well I guess I'd like to do all of them) but I've got a big trip to South Africa coming up so time and cash will probably be a bit short.

April 4th is at the Bluebird in Denver. Would have preferred the Fox...but what can you do.

Been thinking of taking a trip to SLC when a good band is playing there for a combo music/ski trip. Looks like I've found my weekend to do that!

Apologies to everyone but those dates were never confirmed and should never have been released. However we are about to announce some west coast shows during April.

Not exactly the 50 State tour that had been mentioned but glad that our American cousins are getting to see them as they are on absolute fire at the moment. :D

official dates

04-04 Denver, CO - The Bluebird Theater
04-05 Salt Lake City, UT - Urban Lounge
04-06 Boise, ID - Egyptian Theatre
04-08 Seattle, WA - Neptune Theatre
04-09 Portland, OR - Wonder Ballroom
04-11 Santa Cruz, CA - Cocoanut Grove Historic Ballroom
04-12 Las Vegas, NV - House of Blues

I gotta say, being from Lawrence, KS this is really disheartening. I was looking forward to seeing Spiritualized very much so, on my list of top bands to see live. I don't know where the miscommunication was, but I was 100% stoked for it when it was announced on 1/3 by The Granada. Now to see it like this, really saddens me.

I share your pain. I was excited (& surprised) to see Knoxville, TN on the initial list because good bands usually just pass through without stopping from Nashville, TN to Asheville, NC. Bummer.

Saw them on the LICD tour at Liberty Hall in Lawrence. Was one of the better shows I've seen.

I was pricing flights to Seattle and Portland from Detroit which is a major Delta hub.
When did flying become so expensive. $500 round trip? I'd rather spend double and go to England.

Wow that's a brutal schedule... I can't imagine how difficult touring like that must be... I feel like they need to be on some sort of training regimen these next few months before they embark!!!

Santa Cruz... man I want to go... on a Thursday night though... wouldn't be a big deal if it was here in LA... but I have to go... been a rough few months with my parents (particularly frustrating considering the news I got in december...) and this is the sort of thing my father doesn't really like (me driving far/coming back late at night since I'd have class the next day, etc)... I need to make this happen though...

Just emailed you man. I know it's expensive but let me know if you do come over. The Wonder is a good venue (old Masonic Temple/Hall) and sound is always good. Have to say, last May when they played there it may have been the most crowded I have ever seen the place.

I'm planning on going to all the dates except for Denver. At the very least, I'll go to Seattle through Las Vegas. Breweries in Portland will be a must!

I'm doing some research for this tour and it looks like there might be an opener.

All of the shows are already on sale. Almost all of them are under $30.

The Santa Cruz show seems really great. It's under "public events" which also hosts a bridal expo and a 'Boardwalk Family Fun Overnight'
http://cocoanutgrovesantacruz.com/publi ... itualized/

"Come experience a magical time with this legendary English space-rock band."

I'm officially going to all of them except for Denver. Excited!

I just realized I would most likely be able to day trip up to the santa cruz show... got super excited... was about to sally up for tix.... 21+++++++++++++++ argh so gutted right now. And Coachella is highly unlikely (haven't been in a few years but I don't really enjoy it... plus I'm tryna go to either APF or the Deerhunter ATP and I have a feeling I couldn't swing Coachella + one of those two).... :( :( :( :( :(

I know right? They are expensive though... (100 bucks or so usually for two, depending on how many people are getting them at once) might be time to start saving...

This show is especially exciting because it's in Pioneertown. Those of you who don't know what this is, look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneertown,_California

I'll be returning home from Las Vegas the day before so I don't think I'll be able to make it to this one. A shame, really...

Is (was) Pioneertown a real town made up of actual old buildings or is it a fake town created by Hollywood specifically for TV and movies?

I know Spindrift play out there a lot. Suits their Spaghetti Western psych.

Hello all, a fan from South Korea here. Been browsing this site for a while and it's a great forum, so thanks to the admins. :D I'll be attending the Portland gig and it's going to be my very first Spiritualized gig.. Very excited. I'm looking if I can go to the Santa Cruz date as I'll be travelling all the way to LA anyway, and the venue looks great. Now I need to find some cheap flight tickets..

It's all ages yet has a great bar. I'd be surprised if the tickets last too much longer. I'm so excited to be going!

Another one of my crazy Spiritualized trips is starting up for me in just two weeks!

I'm still working out some details. Anyone going to the SLC, Boise, AND Seattle shows? I was going to rent a car for the journey between these cities, but a few friends dropped out and that's no longer financially viable. PM me if anyone is interested in making these ridiculous treks with me. There will be lots of rolling hills and tiny bit of deserts. Probably some trees near Seattle.

Those "rolling hills" will actually be the snow covered Cascade mountains. Beautiful, volcanic mountains that ring the PNW. The landscape in Eastern Oregon (east of cascades) is high desert and virtual rain forest in western portion of Oregon and Washington state. The contrast will be nice so take a good camera.

PM me your cell to meet up before Portland's gig. Do you have a place to stay in PDX?
