Another name has been announced for an outdoor gig at Dublin's Royal Hospital, Kilmainham this summer.

The legendary Patti Smith and her band will play her seminal album from 1975, 'Horses', in full at the venue on June 1st.

She'll be supported by Spiritualized, Ariel Pink and New Secret Weapon.

Tickets are €49.50 including booking fee, and on sale next Monday, February 23rd at 9am from usual outlets.

I have tickts. It is freezing and pissing it down. I might be tempted to go to the pub and give it a miss. i am too old and fat to get soaked waiting for a gig....... :?

Bollocks. Wish i'd known that earlier. I reckon there was a good chance of picking up a cheap ticket for this outside the venue. I was dropping people off at Heuston station but came home rather than hang around for a wet and windy outdoor gig.

If i'd known it was going to be in a tent i'd have taken the chance of trying to find a cheap ticket

It was fucking freezing! We buggered off during Patti Smith due to the cold/pissed up morons. I didn't see any touts to be honest, but I wasn't really looking. Forbidden Fruit had been on the previous few nights so the whole site was pretty ploughed up. My new docs took a hammering.....
