I'm tempted by this. Hopefully Bardo Pond and The Heads will play other shows in April so I will be spared the joys of Pontins. I still have the jitters about Camber Sands at Christmas two years ago. The chance of ATP going bust (again) also persuades me to wait a bit before committing.

totally agree Olan. on the face of it, this is the kind of lineup I'd be well up for (really like the jazzy stuff he's picked too). but with the recent fiasco that ATP were involved with, I'm wary.

at least it means The Head are still an ongoing concern. lets hope they play a date or two around this, as do Bardo Pond (or can you imagine it, a joint date between them both!!)

A joint show between them would be worth travelling for...

ATP has let itself go ...

... no seriously, they did!
"So do you get to wear laminate?"
"Yeah, I mean it makes me feel a little self-conscious but, you know, you sort have to, you know, get into certain shows."
"Oh my god, that's so cool!" (Mark Kozelek)

further names added, some great stuff. have any other fest managed to get Carlton Melton, The Heads and Bardo Pond on the same bill?

Roky Erickson (performing the music of 13th Floor Elevators)
Sun Ra Arkestra
Richard Dawson
Thurston Moore
Carlton Melton
The Bellrays
The Blue Aeroplanes
Richard James (of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci)
Dave Graney and the mistLY
Wolf People
Alan Wilkinson
Ex-Easter Island Head
The Wolfhounds

the recent ATP event went ahead without any hitches. was a bit undersold though apparently!

lots more great names added including The Fall, Damon & Naomi, This Is Not This Heat, Giant Sand.
Stewart Lee knows his onions.

the other fest curated by Drive Like Jehu, however.. utter pants lineup on that one!
