Thinking about this myself... curious. Saw him play acoustic, with a full and and as Brain Donor over the years but kinda went off some of his recent stuff.

I went to his last show in Liverpool with Dave Caldwell. Excellent tunes, very funny commentary and a great atmosphere made for a very enjoyable night out. I shall go to the Arts Club gig in February hopefully.

I must admit, I'm not actually that familiar with Julian's music. I love his writing and his music taste but never properly investigated his own stuff.
I'm tempted to check out what sort of set he would play.
