i'm from visiting London from San Francisco during this time (for My bloody valentine) and just bought my ticket for this gig. On Concorde 2's website it says doors @ 7pm, show starts at 7:30 and it ends 10 pm at the lastest. There's another gig that starts at 11pm. I'm so excited for this!

Hopefully we will still get the close to 2 hour set, and maybe there just won't be any support. The early finish is due I think to a club night at the venue starting at 10pm, but it all works out well if you're coming down from London as the last train back to London from Brighton is around 11pm. So no need to stay in the Travelodge.

I cant really afford to get to this from Manchester. It's cheap to get to London but Brighton is far too expensive :(

ABOCA - yes, I saw that. Here are the two train schedules from London Victoria. I'm so excited and very glad it's an early show!

Just recieved this emaill...unfortunately I live in California, and don't have plans to be in England this summer. Good luck!
As a warm up for their Glastonbury slot at the end of the month, Spiritualized are playing a small, one off gig at the Concorde 2 in Brighton on Friday 27th June. This promises to be an unforgettable and special, intimate show and we have a pair of tickets to give away - just click here to enter.

Speaking of Glastonbury, the band\'s performance on the John Peel stage on Saturday night is being filmed by the BBC, so if you\'re not able to go to, there\'s no need to miss out.

It looks like they're some left here.

Is anyone else going who has to be on that last train to Victoria, and is the gig definitely going to finish in time? I wouldn't want to miss the end, nor the last train, then have to hang around until the next train at 5.24am :?
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

it's an amazing venue. i've seen a couple of gigs there

then let us compare mythologies
i have learned my elaborate lie
of soaring crosses and poisened thorns'

Its good isnt it? I was also very impressed with the sound, usually at small gigs the PA can be a bit pathetic but i found the sound really good there.

Yes - the show starts promptly at 7:30 pm - there is no opening band, there is another event that starts at 11pm - The show won't go on after 10pm. According to Concorce 2s website the time block for this event is 7-10pm. I doubt they'd play for more than 2.5 hours :)
