Music Hall of Williamsburg

Post by spazed99 »

A final show in Williamsburg has been added at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday July 26th. It will be a seated show with a limited capacity of 450. Ticket info will be made available on the gig section as soon as we have it.

Show goes on sale Friday. About $10 more expensive, but it's worth it to me.

Anyone have information if the set list will be different or will this show be acoustic?

Just check out the set list for dates leading up to this show. It will at least give you an idea of what you should expect (in the case of the 4 acoustic mainlines I saw, it was a mold set in stone...but I'm not complaining).

It's a partially seated show. The rest is standing room, general admission. The seating is first come, first serve. I would guess it's just an evening with Spiritualized, which is fine by me. Tomorrow night at Terminal, the Dirtbombs are opening, so I checked them out. They are very bad. But I'm still getting there early so I can get a spot up front.

I saw at 5-6 cameras at the show, hopefully that means a live DVD. Great fucking show btw.

And it seems maybe the show was seated because it was professionally filmed. Have any other shows on this tour been filmed?

Hmmm wonder if theres going to be some kind of acoustic/electric mainlines DVD? how good would that be! the warm harmonious sound of the acoustic show counterbalanced with the electric noise. Would be very special.

the Williamsburg filming was for a UK Channel 4 programme to be broadcast in September. The acoustic dvd has been filmed but we are waiting while Universal sit on their lazy corporate back sides to make a decision, allegedly.
