Did running 17 & 18 on the same night adversely affect the reception of each episode?
just an inert chunk of randomly assembled molecules drifting wherever the universe blows...

I think it was a savvy move. Episode 18 was much slower than I had expected. Honestly, 17 is what I had expected of 18. If 18 had run on its own, I think there would have been more of an uproar than there was.
