Re: Twin Peaks Returns
Did running 17 & 18 on the same night adversely affect the reception of each episode?

Re: Twin Peaks Returns
I think it was a savvy move. Episode 18 was much slower than I had expected. Honestly, 17 is what I had expected of 18. If 18 had run on its own, I think there would have been more of an uproar than there was.jack white wrote:Did running 17 & 18 on the same night adversely affect the reception of each episode?

I found some of the ideas put forward in this interesting: https://www.waggish.org/2017/twin-peaks-finale/

Coop
Series seems increasingly profound & prophetic.
What year is this?
We can’t even save ourselves.

Re: Twin Peaks Returns
Watching it on blu-ray (first time rewatching since it went out) - just finished part 8, and if anything it was better than first time around. Probably the best hour of television I've ever seen.
Even before the technical achievement or the audacity of what took place in that episode, the story and the heart and emotion elevate it above anything else I've seen.

The one unavoidable issue that still weaving machines when is Cooper going to wake up? It should be soon, in light of the fact that he's on the hit rundown.
