“You're not Dostoevsky,' said the citizeness

'Well, who knows, who knows,' he replied.

'Dostoevsky's dead,' said the citizeness, but somehow not very confidently.

'I protest!' Behemoth exclaimed hotly. 'Dostoevsky is immortal!”

saw it last night on Netflix, it's great. a lot of archival performance videos from all stages of her career, interviews with Nina as well as candid ones with her daughter (who helped produce it), ex husband, collaborators, etc. went in to her musical as well as social-political history as well. Not the most compelling or thorough doc I've even seen, but certainly very well done and honest portrayal that is worth seeing, at least if you are a casual fan like myself.
