Anyone else watching? I didn't watch many films this year, but I did like Sound of Metal about a heavy metal drummer who loses his hearing and One Night In Miami which was a fictional account of Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, Jim Browne, and Muhammad Ali spending a night together in the late 60s.
Covid still takes center stage, but it appears we're headed in the right direction.

Re: Oscars 2021
I didn't watch the Oscars but I did see Sound of Metal and thought it was an excellent film. Thought provoking and moving at times with a superb cental performance from Riz Ahmed. My hearing has suffered over the years from loud live music, and I've often been nervous about the whole idea of deafness. This movie gives you more then a glimpse into this area. Recommended.
