Has anyone seen this film?

I'm not terribly "filmy" but stoated by it in one of the big Tesco's on Thursday night.
It's an absolute joy of a film.
Beautifully shot in b&w with little colour bits a la Schindlers List
The story is simple but weaves a thousand questions?
The soundtrack is by Police drummer Stewart Copeland and is beat (daddy-o) cool.
Mickey Rourke (a spit for Bruce Willis) & Matt Dillon play the lead roles from this '83 film. "Motorcycle Boy" & "Rusty James" respectively.
Some niche lil appearances by Hopper, Fishburne, Cage and Tom Waits as Benny (Benny's Billairds owner)
The fight scenes are like a dance (West side story). The script is intensely quiet.
I was a happy wee bunny on Staurday night.

Think I picked this up for 3 quid.

I saw this in the cinema when it came out. It was possibly a little too fancy for it's own good but is a decent film. Works in black and white.

a classic movie!
(at least for some of us born in the first half of the seventies)

to me it was almost as important as I suspect "the wild one" or "rebel without a cause" was to the old folks
