AFX Box-Set

Post by MODLAB »

If anyone knows Analord series, I made a box set as a gift for my brother-in-law. He's an analog synth freak.

Lovely stuff, mark

much more interesting than the dirge box for the 10"s that came out.

Does each box have it's own little "lineage" or two, three....eleven? Do the lineages each terminate in differing plugs?

Would like to see more.

Best

Stuart

Gotta to say; I really like that Mark.

There's something going on there like...oh whats that thing called...a "controlled" seismometer the way the lineages are interacting.

Is there a pin missing in each of the output plugs? Sorry I'm gash with cable names...I've only heard odds and sods of the analord series; how does it rate against say Surfin' On Sine Waves and SAWII?

At the minute I can't get away from the very warm/womb like synths on Vadislav Delay Anima and him (Sasu Rippatti) along with Moritz Von Oswald (Basic Channel) & Max Louderbauer have put together a little trio...release out now.

Interesting for me (being Scottish) to note that Moritz was producing Billy McKenzie (Associates) at some point.

Well...hit a tangent there.

Best,

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Thank you! Well the thing is that the music is made with analog synths so my idea was to have
the midi controller play the part of analog is going onto digital media. The cables and the points
on them are just basically saying oh this is a different connection and there's different music
on each disk at a different setting, ambience and time. They also play with the volume number
ie:first pin is missing for volume one and all pins are there for volume eleven.

This stuff is more mellow compared to Surfin On Sine Waves. It's acid.

I looked up those musicians you mentioned and I have to say I like Vladislavs stuff it's really nice.
Perfect for a rainy hungover morning.

Best,

M

I ended up with 2 sets on vinyl once due to lack of memory. Gave one set away to a friends son. He was well chuffed.
