farewell to the Betas.

Post by clewsr »

So saw the Beta Band play for the last time last night. Very sad that they splitting up. It was a great live show. I think it lasted two hours, with a couple of encores. They've got a fair old back catalogue to pick from now, and every song was a favorite. Interestingly though most of the set was from the 3 eps. Maybe they recognise they've never topped those first classic releases. Even so I reckon their last album was their best proper album release, so it seems a shame to split up after such a good record.

Even way you've got to respect their integrity. So long, Betas

Im going to see them in a few weeks. Im looking foreward to it but its a real shame they are splitting. They are purhaps the only band to rival spiritualized in the live band stakes. Truly amazing

They were excellent but not as good as when I saw them Bristol after their album was released, only because last night was sold out and Bristol wasn't so not much room to dance.
It really is a shame they have split they looked like they were having fun last night, biggest cheer had to be for Dry the Rain.
