educate and persuade me and i might!
i've just been wandering around record shops in town trying to find a skip spence lp and have accidentally remembered what a wonderful source of music the northern quarter is. this makes spending £24 on a gig ticket less appealing, but if anyone can point me in the direction of some dr john it'd be quite a nice introduction ...

Rhino brought out Mos' Scocious, a two-disc anthology, a few years back but there's no sign of it on their website now. Bound to be a few out there (try eBay or Gemm); well worth tracking down as it's a fine introduction to both the Night Tripper and the many styles of New Orleans groove.anorthernsoul wrote:educate and persuade me and i might!
