Neil Halstead

Post by moop »

saw him play in brighton last night. absolutely magical!
i love slowdive, mojave 3 and his solo stuff, so it was pretty much a given that i was going to enjoy it, but hearing the tracks live really reminded me just how great they are. and what an amazing voice...
great support from 'Old Lost John' too.

go see him if you get a chance... :D

[if anyone's interested, i made a little bootleg of the occasion as a little memento. it turned out pretty well considering i recorded it from the back of the room (behind the audience), using a recorder designed for dictation]

Thanks for the heads up. I loved slowdive way back when and while i don't know too much of Mohave 3, what little I do know is fantastic, essentially Excuses for travellers which is a lovely album. He's playing in at The Jericho in Oxford on Thursday. Got my tickets just now. Thanks again.
