I just scored a ticket for this show and am super psyched. It sold out quickly, but a friend wound up with an extra. Can't wait! They just announced a new LP coming in September, too.

I'm super stoked, as Green Music Fest was the coolest street
festival all of 2011 for me.

Yeah, Green Music was great last year. My band played that one and we had a blast. I didn't make it out this year, but it was totally fantastic to see Dinosaur Jr. at Subterranean, as the last time I'd seen them was at Lollapalooza when it was still a traveling festival way back in '94. I'm not so great with Dinosaur Jr. song titles, unfortunately. They played a lot of early material. I definitely remember hearing "Out There" and "Feel The Pain," both of which were great. The ended with their cover of "Just Like Heaven". I think they only did one song from Green Mind, but I can't recall the title.

I don't think it's 100% accurate, because I'm pretty sure Out There wasn't second, but you get the idea.

they played 'thumb?!' that one's always been one of my favorites of theirs. 'green mind' was the first album of theirs i had and that one always stuck out with the weird mellotron floating over the top. i've seen them four times now and they've never played it.
i was supposed to go to that show with a friend- what a drag i didn't act quickly enough (it's not even like it sold out that quickly).
