I'm tempted (but wavering) to make the trip up to Manchester... it's knocking on 30 quid for a ticket, and although I like them I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan...

I really hope the new album happens sooner than later. I saw them live on their last U.S. tour a few years ago and they were great, but I wouldn't go see them again if they didn't have new material to play.

i'm really excited to hear them play new stuff live. even if they didn't i'd probably still go, i have to admit. they've been my favourite band since i was 16 and back then it seemed so impossible that i'd ever get to see them live- seeing them in 2008 was like fulfilling one of my wildest, most impossible dreams.
