location: dead center, 3 rows FoB
editing: Audacity (amplified, fade in/out), r8brain (resample/dither), TLH (flac8)

01. untitled loop / drone improvisation

trt 75:26

* Ellnora Guitar Festival
* about half the audience got scared off by the repetitive and noisy nature of the piece, but I'm pretty sure I saw god
* I amplified the music independently of the applause, volume changes occur at 00:15 and 74:57
* 16/44.1 version

don't sell, etc

Wow, what a great recording! Thanks for sharing. It sounds quite different to his normal solo shows doesn't it (not as fragile and delicate), it's really dirty and very reminiscent of Spacemen 3. Looking forward to the show in the 23rd at OTO. Should be a good night.

This is an awesome recording of an awesome sounding show. To me, this is like a frazzled Neil Young style take on Dreamweapon... a mere 25 years later and using one guitar this time (Vox Starstream?) and some cool pedals.

It's meditative... but ferocious. Just a few minutes in and you find yourself getting pretty hypnotized by the whole thing. Around half way through the 'Take Your Time'/'Metatron' riff starts up and these great swathes of pure distorted, electric noise scramble over the top. It's really layered and very beautiful. Plus the audio quality really is good, an appreciative audience and a great sound hall is a winning combo!

Massive thanks to rhinowing for the recording and cheers to Jebus for the heads up.
