I just remembered what they did during Electric Mainline? Near the end to add to the noise J and Doggen both started playing harmonica's really high up the register to add a load of of top end. It was one of those moments that put a huge smile on my face, pure Spiritualized attention to detail. J, You sly old dog. Haven't you punished my ears enough without adding that...

I just read that the Brudenell won 'best small venue' at the Live UK Music Business Awards. Makes me proud. Thoroughly deserved and hats off to Nathan Clark for making the place such a fantastic venue that so many bands want to play at.

One year since this epochal gig!

So ridiculously late with my review of the whole amazing event, which was notable for being the occasion every moderator from this board was present,

Another first being the only time I have recorded my own bootleg:

I wish I'd recorded the whole fucking show after hearing this a few days later... although as the whole venue was bouncing like a proper Saturday night disco there's no way it would have any decent fidelity. I remember the place was like how I imagine an old school rave was like when 'Walking With Jesus' edged it's way in.

What a glorious feeling, blitzed on pints of Red-Stripe and painkillers and surrounded by an up-for-it crowd...

Jason was an incredibly patient and accommodating host afterwards as well.

"C'MON THE SPACEMAN!"

Quite a night!
You can only hope when you book an overseas flight you get paid off big time like that gig at the Brudenell.
Lots of familiar faces and some people from this message board I had never met.
Also very nice to see Stevielee whom i had the pleasure of drinking a few beers with and his new wife and Ro post show at the NYC Radio City LAGWAFIS show.
Way overdue for some Spaceman live magic!
