Mexico festival set list

Post by Jasonsmith »

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/spiritua ... 2ea61.html

Come Together
Shine a Light
Stay With Me
Soul on Fire
I'm Your Man
On the Sunshine
Damaged
The Morning After
So Long You Pretty Thing
Oh Happy Day

I would expect this to mean that the upcoming shows in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Stockholm are "And Nothing Hurt" play through sets...

I have to admit not a very exciting setlist. Still looking forward to the upcoming gigs, but hopefully there will be some surprises. I understand Jason wants to play the new album, and I look forward to hearing those songs performed live, but can't help feeling he plays it safe with that setlist. For one thing I don't get why he keeps including Soul on Fire. Come on! Dig out some stuff from Pure Phase :D I want drones and noise!

I feel like there's always a bustout every tour where J reaches back and pulls out a song that hasn't been played in forever.
Most recently it was If I Was With Her Now.
Wait til the tour starts and it's a proper show.
Not a festy set.

I was just thinking the other day how fucking sick it would be if they played Feelin' Just Fine.
These days I'd be happy to hear Medication and/or Take Your Time.

Yeah not a hugely inspiring setlist but it is a festival after all.
proper shows will be longer leaving bit more space for variety.
I like the fact that two of the ANH songs are the rockers.

I agree that the band often pull at least one random old song out of the bag.. lets wait and see
