Damn, can't get access to the site.
Seems like it's not safe.
Would love to hear the recording.
Anyone with more luck?

cheers for the memento Bza! i wasn't at the Portugal gig but that's almost the same setlist as at end of the road a couple of weeks later. as i recall the set was the same just we got 'the prize' instead of 'sail on through'. we also had incredible sound and mixing of the band, along with great lighting and (from where i was) a great view of the band (who i was pleased to note had 3 guitarists). I wasn't sure what to expect on this tour, but they were amazing. great to hear the new material live too - especially 'on the sunshine'. powerful stuff, emotional and unhinged at times, just how a great spz gig should be!

Thanx a million for the link BZA!
Finally a quality recording of the already legendary ANH-tour. Love the new songs and hearing them live is once again a superb experience! Cheers.

thanks for posting this. I must admit to skipping right past the songs I've heard a million times (do I urgently need another version of Soul On Fire at this stage? not really) to go straight to the And Nothing Hurt songs

Sail In Through is fabulous.. already one of my faves but this extended version with lots of extra floaty guitar added is superb.
they really seem to still have it. the songs seem to have a lot of life to them, I think having 3 guitarists helps a lot too

Just don't miss out on the opening Hold On > Come Together > Shine a Light

The latter two I always wanted to hear in the way they do in this recording - Come Together getting incredibly more freaked out and then Shine a Light kicking in at the point of no return.

'She Kissed Me' rocks like fuck also!

I wish there was a recording of the Glasgow Fruitmarket gig in this quality. And the recent Acoustic show.

Great performance and recording, thanks for the links. Have to agree with Bza, stunning version of Shine A Light even Soul On Fire had a zip about it,

fair point- I just couldn't resist going straight to the new stuff. will give the whole set a listen tonight.

This really is a great recording. The rockers from ANH are sounding fantastic too, they really build up a head of steam

I like the what they've done live with The Morning After.
The little break-down part in the middle.
I remember that part standing out when I saw them back in April.
Very nice to have a crisp recording that captures it well.

That killed me in Glasgow! The energy in the Old Fruitmarket was enormous at that point...

There are some great recordings of single tracks from that show on YouTube - but I guess we get spoiled with the soundboard/pro-recorded stuff.

The US contingent recorded the most amazing shows, Ed Davis' recording of the LA Orpeheum show is just something else - addition of a choir and orchestra is incredible. He nailed that massive wall of sound... it might as well be a soundboard thing. It's stunning.

See also the Gothic Theatre show in Colorado - beautiful.

However, I'm pained nothing has appeared of the recent Hackney AM show.
