Re: 5/1/95 video
I first saw them in November of that year.
This was posted by Pete Sounds on Facebook but thought I would share here and it’s a rather odd time for many of us. This made my day.

Good stuff right there.
Someone should rip the audio.

Re: 5/1/95 video
This is THE best quarantine ever.
Glimpses of soundcheck are awesome. So cute seeing little bit of the free-styling inside their camp. Though all of this sincerely makes me yearn "electricity" (not the song) back in Jason's setlist. We are all always grateful for his performances, but that kinda electric juice is also missed.

Re: 5/1/95 video
There has been some activity on the Spiritualized official youtube channel also. Some official videos have been uploaded.
Was video for "Run" always circulating with such a good audio quality? Feels like a master copy of the video or they just replaced the audio of it. I hope the case is in not such a tricking, but anyway it's a very high quality upload considering audio of the actual video.

Re: 5/1/95 video
I gotta say, the quality of that Linser audio is some of the best I've heard from 1995.
Thanks again, kburd.

I think this is the last of the 1995 gigs being shared.
Some soundchecks from 1996 (Neil Young Tour) and 1998 (Radiohead): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0Ppi8 ... __oBTQADPA

Re: 5/1/95 video
It has been interesting trawling through YouTube for Spiritualized stuff. I had never noticed before just how good the sound quality is on the Glastonbury 92 video. If anybody wants the audio of it or any of the other vids, let me know! I will see what I can do.
Re: 5/1/95 video
Ah, unfortunately Veiko, I meant if anybody want the audio ripped from any of the videos that are already up. By way of (hopefully) making things a bit better here is the audio from Spanish TVE appearance in 98...

Re: 5/1/95 video
If anyone has been geeky enough to watch all of these 95 tour vids, which one would you say is the best to start with?
Re: 5/1/95 video
I've only flicked through all of them and i'd be inclined to go chronologically, but that's just my hangupsangelsighs wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 12:36 pm If anyone has been geeky enough to watch all of these 95 tour vids, which one would you say is the best to start with?
The last two shows each have a slight setlist alteration (and we know how exciting that is in Spiritualized land ). Dallas features Things'll Never Be The Same and Austin has an early Electricty.
That's probably been no help whatsoever!

Re: 5/1/95 video
Well up the thread someone said Lisner was great quality so think I'll start with that
Yep, setlist changes with the band are so rare. Part of me wishes they were one of those bands that mixed up the set night after night, but that doesn't seem to be Jason's bag at all. Too risky!
It just means that any setlist changes are all the more special though!

Re: 5/1/95 video
Are they support act for someone here, anyone know who they`re supporting?
Re: 5/1/95 video
i don’t know the answer to this, but when i saw them several months later it was just them, no support, save for the terrific pre-gig music jason had chosen. and i’m glad for that, it was just perfect that way. if i remember previous conversation here right, this whole tour was like that?
edit/ just realized i read and responded to yr post wrong way round! but still, wasn’t this tour just them alone? “Simply Spiritualized”, if you will? hah, that sounds awful

Supporting Siouxsie & The Banshees.
The transition from Shine A Light to Electric Mainline on the Atlanta, Roxy show is something else
