Desert Fest 2022

Post by angelsighs »

Saw this lineup and thought it was a classic example of festival lineup syndrome, where the bands you want to see are all spread out over the various days.

Put Slift, Gnod, Earthless, and Electric Wizard on the same day and I'd be all over it..

Always the way isn't it?

Gotta love some of the other band names.. You can tell what genre they are right away!

Yeah keeping it one genre makes any festival bit of a slog. Have to mix it up a little

Yeah quite the name!
Another band just kept it simple and went for Stoner :)

To be fair to Stoner they do feature Nick Oliveri & Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age and Fu Manchu amongst others) in their lineup!

I wouldn`t mind seeing Electric Wizard tbh, but they`re clashing with the superbly named Somali Yacht Club, Lot of good bands there, also quite a lot I have no idea about at all, I guess if they`ve been booked they must have something about them though, no I`m not going.
