as i am behind this screen i'm listening to their concert album "Live".
this jazz is very free. i didn't hope to feel it so hypnotic. maybe the effect will wear out after another listen to it, but right now it's a good change for someone who is tired of chilling and holidays. yes see i'm too often in doubts. SHJ are on fire, feverishly good. Ashley Wales & John Coxon.

has someone seen the DVD about Thrill Jockey records? any comments??

thursday 19th.

the red rose club is a pub - not a club... bit grotty looking but if you like shj youll enjoy the night.
also - j has been known to turn up. not to play, just turn up.

i'm in london a couple of days later but haven't much on beforehand. if there'll be flailing sun-ra-y trumpet sounds then i'll be there.
