Any 2004 recordings yet?

Post by Ian Goodchild »

I'm going to see them on 5th February ay Oxford Brookes and will be getting a copy of that, but if anyone has made their own recordings of the 2004 UK gigs, could they e-mail me: ianjgoodchild@hotmail.com

I can trade for high quality gigs from as far back as 1990, or the latest 2003 gigs from UK and US (up to November 4th) and EVERYTHING inbetween. Please e-mail me rather than contact me on these accursed boards: I'm not using them again.

IAN!

Don't go!

Tell me you're only teasing us....

Your preview of Amazing Grace back last year was one of the best things i've read here, it literally gave us THE CHILLS.

We... We'll miss you!....you and your vast list of bootlegs, listen, my pal copied the Abedeen gig on MD so hopefully getting that soon, but if you leave you won't get to hear it!

Okay...everyone with 2004 gigs, or wishing to trade, please e-mail me, and I'll be glad to trade. Three caveats:

1). I do not have a CD-Recorder - the gigs I send will be on conventional metal, good quality tapes. I'd be happy to get tapes in return, or if trading tapes for CDs, if you send me a CD you get extra stuff on the tape that I'll send you. (also, I can't file share: I just don't have adequate technology at home, to send or receive).

2). I've had a lot of people ask me to send them my list. This isn't such a problem when it's ocassional, but there are a lot of people asking for it at the moment: it's a huge file, which needs to be updated every week and has an absolutely enormous amount of information on it. I'd prefer it if people send me their list first - it gives me the opportunity to say: Oooh, I'd like that, that and that., and then they can chose the sets they like when I send them my list.

3). I can't sell these shows - I'm really sorry, but it goes against the whole ethos of the thing.

I guess that's it - thanks for the massive response. :)

No...as I've said, I can't file-share in any way shape or form. I'm guessing that a few other people will be able to post some 2004 material, but for me it is just way, way too much effort.

Sorry.

shine a light sounds amazing as always. particularly the buildup to it through electricity coupled with some mind melting strobes. i was shaking for a while after. think of the buildup to it on RAH. sweet.
