First 3 tracks from St Mary's for download

Post by They Transmit »

Hi everyone, here's the first 3 track from the St Mary's gig, I've had them down the studio and fixed a lot of the initial recording issues with them,
Enjoy.

I'm repeating myself but thanks a ton, this means more to me than most stuff I can buy in the shops at the minute. Totally selfless work so that other people can enjoy what it was like to be present at a fantastic night.

Gee... some people are never happy, eh?

;)

I'd also like to add my thanks to both of you - for those of us unfortunate enough to be living overseas, this is as close as we'll get to being there, at least until the DVD comes out...

Great work guys!

Any chance someone can re-post these tracks as they've now expired and I have had probs with my computer for the last week or so? Would be very much appreciated.

BUMP -- I would love a repost as I've not heard any of these songs; i'm a long time drone-on member. New to this list though. Thanks.

Roll on indeed...though no roll-ups allowed at the gig :( I know someone started a thread about a pre-gig pint but can't remember much consensus. I don't know whether I'm just going to have to meet the folks I'm going with at the Sage or whether we'll be out in the town beforehand. If there's folks coming by train then the Head of Steam seems like the best bet, unless you want to pay £3.75 in Centurion for a bottle of Magners!

I certainly don't fancy spending much time in the Sage bar, either standing upstairs or sitting downstairs where I'll probably meet my folks going to some Northern Symphonia do, asking why people in red t-shirts are 'fucked-up'

Megaupload is a file-sharing site that allows uploads up to 500mb. It would be great to hear the whole show, if you're able to upload.

I'd love to hear those mp3s. I'd be happy to host them on my website for a couple weeks so everyone can download. I'd have to remove after my traffic reached a certain limit though.

Yes, the megaupload download worked for me this morning - 216mb, the whole concert - 92 minutes, 320k mp3.

Thanks for jpbowman for uploading - much appreciated.

The recording is of a similar sound quality to previous files uploaded to the board, which may guide you in your decision to download or not. I could upload a sample minute, if anyone wants a sample before deciding to go for the big download.

thanks for the upload :)

To answer a couple of PM's sent to me via this message board:

i've decided to hold out on my colchester gig recording because there seems to be a clear intention to release an official live recording. i figure it's fairer to let the official one do the rounds and then, if people are still wanting, to release these rips - i call this supporting the artist.

btw/ im still downloading the st mary's gig ;)
