SONIC CATHEDRAL – the UK’s finest shoegaze clubnight – returns to its spiritual home, Reading, for the third SUNDAY SERVICE at the OAKFORD SOCIAL CLUB on Sunday September 16. From 3pm come down to soothing shoegaze sounds courtesy of our special guest DJ, German electronica genius ULRICH SCHNAUSS, before live sets from narcoleptic Newport drone-rockers THE VOICES and epic soundscapers KYTE.

Sonic Cathedral – the celebrated shoegaze and drone-rock clubnight – opens for worship at The Luminaire for the first time. Playing live are San Francisco sonic explorers Seventeen Evergreen, epically inclined Leicestershire-based newcomers Kyte and, from Virginia, the folk-infused drones of Hush Arbors. Guest DJ for the evening is James Rutledge, aka eclectic electronica artist Pedro.
