Bloody hell this would be good if true. The Union Chapel is the PERFECT venue for them!
I've seen a few bands in this place in times gone by - Sigur Ros, Low, etc and it's always been fantastic.
A must-see in my book.

Ha! A new site, cool.
A Union Chapel gig is exciting news indeed (oh, please, please, please let me be in the country...). U.S dates- that's even better and much deserved for the audience over there.
Thanks for the Myspace info too!

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
cheers Neil. I done the deal on Ticketmaster. Does anyone know what the deal is with seats as it unreserved?
Is it a mad rush to get to the front?

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
Stargreen also have them, for those who don't like using Ticketbastard...
Re: New Shows....USA too ???
I saw they were on Stargreen but they only had 1 ticket left so was stuck using Ticketbastard, £4 extra per ticket plus £5 for postage, they are just a complete rip off.

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
Is this show definitely happening? The Union Chapel website makes no mention of it.
Re: New Shows....USA too ???
Sorry, since that time an official thingy has gone up on this website. Got my tickets but feel depraved and dirty (not in a good way) after using TicketMaster. Proper skank.

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
hi there
an ammendment to my previous post...
the spiritualized myspace page is the (semi) offical spiritualized myspace page.
so the news is all 100% accurate, and there will indeed be a track from the new album there shortly.
apologies for my previous mistake.

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
I'm deliberating whether to go to the Union Chapel gig- how easy is the venue to get to for us peeps outside London?
I should go really though- it happens to be the day after my birthday! what a present!

To drive to i don't know, it could be in the congestion zone. Looks easy enough to get to using the tube.angelsighs wrote:how easy is the venue to get to for us peeps outside London?

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
the union chapel is outside of the congestion zone by a mile or so.
highbury & islington tube on the victoria line is a hundred yards away.
and it's a pretty magical venue too.

Looking at the venues website, it does look like a magical venue. And i'm sure it will indeed be a magical night.
Wonder if the setlist will change at all from Acoustic Mainlines MkII (ie adding in Think Im In Love, Broken Heart etc)? I reckon J will have at least one surprise for the final night of the tour.

Re: New Shows....USA too ???
I spoke to a staff member at Union Chapel (after buying my tickets which have still not arrived!) and she said they can't have reserved seating, because of the nature of the layout, ie pews etc as it's a working Church.simonkeeping wrote:cheers Neil. Anyone have any idea if there's a support act?
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!
