Boston show audio (and now some video!)...

Post by bradalmanac »

Still reeling from last night's show, and have shared the audio here...

http://www.bradleysalmanac.com/2007/11/ ... boston.htm

Absolutely drop-dead beautiful. I only hope the audio captures even part of what it felt like to be there. This may be the shortest amount of time between walking out of a show and sharing it that I've ever pulled off... couldn't sleep... I was a man possessed...

UPDATE: Thanks to the Phoenix's On The Download, you can watch video of three songs from the set ("Walking With Jesus", "True Love Will Find You...", and "Soul On Fire").

Enjoy...

-Brad

Those singers were absolutely phenomenal.
They seemed to be having a blast, as did Jason and I don't think it was just the silver shoes.

Was this an audience or sound board recording? And what did you use to record? It's stunning.

It's an audience recording, but I did a lot of editing/sound levelling (yes, it was a late night!... the post-show buzz kept me up :-)). The recording details are at the bottom of the post.

Glad everyone's enjoying it as much as I am...

Brad,

Thanks for the music - I downloaded it the day you put it up on your site and have been listening to it very regularly since (that and The Verve at Blackpool!)

I have to say, it's a bittersweet recording - in that it kind of makes up for the fact that I opted out due to the 5 hour drive from Montreal - but every time I hear it I know that I missed something really, really special. The venue looked really intimate!

Anyway, thanks again!
