The sound was excellent, Chucho (spanish supporting act) were great as always, mew quite ok and spiritualized, well, i'm still half deaf today!

lucky you plex! saw them in madrid last friday and though it's the best show I've seen them play by far, unfortunately the sound wasn't very good during some parts of the show which was a shame.
I think they played those same songs here plus this little life of mine but I'm not really sure. wakeup, you also attended the madrid gig, am I correct or did I dreamed that up?
anyway, awesome gig even if a bit too short, though I quite liked the no bullshit encore thing. at the end I thought maybe it was just what they do given the intensity of the whole thing blah blah blah, then I checked this board and read they were playing 4 or 5 more songs a night last week in the US and it pissed me off a bit to tell you the truth. I would've loved to hear medication, run and especially cop shoot cop.
oh well.... btw, was it me or the new songs were way better live than on the album, especially an amazing the ballad of richie lee, and any idea why let it come down is being completely ignored? I think a couple of those songs would've fit the setlist just fine.

eso si, a mi el detalle de no hacer bises me parecio muy bien, es algo que, salvo contadas excepciones, no me gusta que hagan los grupos o al menos no que lo planeen de antemamo. el setlist fue igualito que el de arriba, pero creo que tocaron tambien this little life of mine. lo que mas me llamo la atencion es que no tocaran nada de let it come down y que las canciones de amazing grace me parecieron muchisimo mejores en directo que en el disco, sobre todo me impresiono the ballad of richie lee.

iria a portugal en junio o cuando fuera porque me encanta, con y sin eurocopa porque la verdad es que no sigo mucho el futbol
yo he visto un par de conciertos en el val d'hebron de barcelona y no me gusta mucho, la verdad. para ver a strokes me parece un sitio muy poco adecuado, demasiado grande y frio, por no hablar del sonido cavernoso.
y efectivamente ricardo, alli nos veremos viendo a mogwai por septima vez, que ya toca
