lol Santa?nah but wouldn't that be cool? lol ok I will upload some from those eras next no probs...I asked in another thread if The Straight and The Narrow had ever been played and up to now all I have is one reply saying it had been played in Sweden sometime but there's no recording I know of...can anyone help with this...it'd be nice if I could get a show with that on, its my favorite track...same for spread your wings...I've never known it to be played live but I hope someone will prove me wrong...

"Straight & Narrow" has, of course, been played at various Acoustic Mainlines shows, but I think what you mean is more of a LICD-style rendition.

Just wanted to say thanking you for sharing these wonderful shows. I have a lot of stuff over at SoulSeek, though I don't always remember to have it up and running. The only Spiritualize show I was able to get to was the Toad's Place show in 2003. Thanks for making that one available.

they opened Belfast 2004 (i think that was the year, but i dunno - it was the same year they played lisburn a few months later) with Electricity.
as to whether roskilde is incomplete or not, i haven't clue. nor have actually taken advantage of downloading any of these sumptuous gifts, until now!
i' been too busy with acoustic mainlines union chapel and my harddrive too full of random crap to partake to the extremes i'd have like with this thread, but a live slide song is too much to pass up. cheers for this thinline. i'd thank you for the rest that i haven't downloaded but that'd be improper, but i will say i am warmed by and in awe of your generosity. it's really something it is. cheers and merry christmas!

. Fortunately, there is a program called senuti that allows you to transfer music off your iPod back to your computer. My iPod was full so I lost some of my Spiritualized collection, not all of it. I might hit some of you up for some specific recordings I am missing.

Could you post (or megaupload) a list of what you have and I'll see if i can fill in any gaps - I've got a load of live boots but I'm guessing that it's been posted before.

Also, just have to say thanks for the Flux gig, I had a shitty copy from years ago and it sure did bring back memories. Do you know if it was the first or second year that they played Edinburgh? It sounds like the first year to me, but I can't be sure, the second year was a joint venture with Ken Kesey.

Have only now got around to listening to this & it's amazing, just one problem though: on Shine a Light all the vocals seem to have been deliberately edited out. Either that or my download fucked up but you can definitely here a cut in the sound so that there's intro then climax & then into Clear Rush. So if anyone would care to upload the full version of Shine a Light it would be most appreciated, thanks.

I have the VHS tape which I converted to DVD for some folks. They only broadcast Medication with the Arista promo and the original MTV 120 Minutes UK Segment. Angel Sigh was later broadcast. I don't know when or why, I just got my copy from here. My first guess was that this was meant to be an AWESOME build-up to Medication, knowing that was the only song that would actually be included in the MTV segment? Just guessing here, I mean it is one of the best versions of Shine A Light/Clear Rush since FUI. It would be easy to get the real answer to this question, I'm just throwing out guesses. The gentleman who played drums for that set is on this board from time to time. Listening to my version of Shine a Light, it sounds great. Thanks for bringing my attention to it! Really the best Spiritualized band, although I always loved Will's bass playing, this was my favorite Spiritualized band. Too bad they didn't play it on TV! If anyone has the ENTIRE video with Shine a Light and Smiles that would be awesome!!
