The KCRW Session (2008) and Quays Theatre (2006) are the best in quality. Oh yeah, and the iTunes EP.

There are rumors of an official album release, so it will hopefully be really nice.

the lowry show is still available in flac format on this board.

Part 1 (songs 1-12):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BFI41RS1

Part 2 (songs 13-22):

A word of warning though. One of these two I think it's part 1 comes with 'flaccopy' as the file extention. Just delete the 'copy' and it should work just fine. Did for me.

Try this one too.

no one's mentioned the first union chapel gig, which i think is my favourite of the acoustic mainlines boots that people have shared here (the salford gig is my other favourite). it's available through dime a dozen i think. that link is here-

i myself know nothing about torrents. some kind soul uploaded it and when i hit this link it came up, but i didn't try to download it just now. it's in mp3s though.

i think this one sounds the best of the later period ones and the performance is quite good. there's a recording of the second night as well, but this one is better both in sound quality and performance.

I'll second that - the best Acoustic Mainline boots to listen to via FLAC>WAV>CD on decent kit are (in my opinion) the 9th Dec Union Chapel, and the Lowry recording. The latter is slightly clearer and very dry, whereas the former really captures the wet room acoustics that made that gig sound so special on the night.

Honourable mention should also go to the Colchester recording, which was very similar to the Lowry quality-wise, but sounded slightly bass-heavy on the EQ front, though nothing that can't be fixed and well worth seeking out for a full version of Sitting on Fire without the slight hiccup!
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

Personally, I think the San Francisco show at Bimbo's was the best... well-behaved audience and great quality.
