Re: Houston
I have arrived in Texas and I love it here. Texans are so friendly! My RV is great. I've decked it out in religious kitsch to hippy it up. Patchouli and Nag Champa incense, haha. This reminds me of being young and reading Freak Brothers comics and dreaming of a roadtrip, haha.
Yesterday I discovered beer salt (lime and salt, in the cutest bottle). Maybe we have it in the U.K, but this is my first. I can't get enough. And green (jalapeno) tabasco. Life is sweet.
Did some driving around Houston yesterday and certain areas (around Martin Luther King Boulevard) seem to have been hit pretty hard by the hurricane. People were repairing roofs and houses.
