Dunno if they'll do more nights, thought was supposed to be a one off on the date of release?

I got this seat via the website - I was originally allocated a worse seat and spent that long dithering about on the phone too that it was removed and reallocated.

What a bonus!!

Im 4 rows back on the balcony. Looks quite far back on that diagram, but hopefully it'll still be top night. All the front stalls had gone when I rang and the guy on the phone said balcony would be a better view than back of rear stalls.

I logged on at 10 on the dot and got tickets no worries (no password needed either)

Row GG13 & 14- i'll be joining the row G massive then. My seat is listed as Green on that website so I'm a happy bunny.
Believe it or not I chose rear stalls by choice. I wanna take the entire spectacle in from afar :)

Assuming this is a photo from the 1st row of the balcony and of the right venue, the view doesnt actually look that bad.

I've been on the phone and email trying to arrange babysitting and may have cracked it. For an evening is one thing but for an overnight stint with school runs to do is another. Fingers crossed.

Will this be the most amount of forum members in one at any one time? A gathering of the clans?

Next point - nearest decent pub to the RFH?

Bloody row RR in the rear stalls!!!! Curse the time difference. Was too tired from the Primal Scream gig at the Fillmore and couldn't get up at 3am to book tickets. Just got up and shouldn't complain really, at least I got some. Can't believe how quickly these are going though.

Round the corner from the RFH (in the South Bank complex) is the BFI which has a nice bar, comfortable, pretty good beers, not too pretentious.

Hello, everybody. Been lurking here for ages.

I got up at three in the morning, local time. The results: two tickets F/S row C. I'll be flying out from Vancouver, B.C. Never been outside of the Americas before, so this is pretty exciting. I had been longing to visit London, and this was the perfect excuse/catalyst.

I can't wait.

I got seats in a box, does this mean it won't sound as good not being in a central position. To anyone who's been before.

It would be amazing if Daniel Johnston supported, not very likely though.

Runcible... You are bang on the money button there. It was a very shallow experience indeed, no it was far worse than that. I had to phone from work and was on hold for ages. Now personally i wouldn't have been too bothered for myself because i think there will be another show like there was at Union Chapel. But buying tickets for friends from San Diego and Estonia who want to travel all that way to the gig, then i did start to stress. Guys i don't even know our row and seat number but you have tickets in the balcony area.

Spazed99, is this show just LAGWAFIS or is there a first and second half to the night ? It would be nice if all those people who are travelling from around the world because of this show had the chance to pick a song for the first/second half of the show. Shonn, say Spread Your Wings.

Now i'm going to go and get battered to de-stress myself.

I was hoping to start a campaign for something like this. Not necessarily to get to request songs, but just get it to Spaceman's attention that there a lot of people spending a lot of money to travel from far and wide for this show, and could we please have two sets or another gig that weekend or something to add more Spiritualized value for the trip.

I'm guessing two halves, a 'greatest hits' package first, then LAG, culminating in a Christ-almighty version of Cop Shoot Cop featuring Bob Gillespie/Primal Scream and cohorts from Treader

The encore / 2nd set (if there is one) would be a great oppertunity to play Won't get To Heaven, Out Of Sight, On Fire and most stuff off LICD really.

I expect LAG + Selections from A&E followed by Oh Happy Day

Got his from Leeds & Doggens from Sheffield last year & Signed Spectrum tocket by Sonic form back in Feb, so this would sit nicely in between them all!!

No - I checked today. Row UU available. people are just cashing in on the quality seats. I'd rate See Tickets as being pretty crap I must say. After I bought mine in the rear stalls I went back and front stall seats, with what looked like a decent position, were suddenly available...

Been a long time since I posted, so long I can't even remember my user name.

I have to say the ticket thing has been a little disappointing. After spamming for some of the poorest rebalcony seats and finally bagging some, better ones are now available. Oh well.

I look on the bright side though, we're in and there's not many other better venues to have bad seats.

I'm going to stop looking at the RFH site, I certainly don't want to know if another date gets added.

I cannot believe how this has been mishandled and how middle class, out of touch and elitist ticket purchasing has become with the average human being.

Firstly, the official ATP website and Spiritualized website state tickets go on sale at 10am today. THIS IS INCORRECT!
Tickets went on sale at 8am and this wasn't even advertised.

So basically people, including myself have missed out...and i'm not prepared to pay £40+ to sit in the shitty fake 'clouds'.

SECONDLY, why the heck if you are a member of the SOUTHBANK do you get priority days before? You can buy the best tickets in the house and sell them on. NO BRAINER. How rubbish is that?

I am glad I am not going, even if I've been a fan of Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized since way back! I have no doubt the representatives of the band will wash their hands of this.

Jude.

Probably double this post with another but

TUES 13 NOW ON SALE ; just got row F front stalls from SEE tickets

Good Luck!

For anyobdy who wants to know which seats are deemed as good and which are deemed bad go to http://www.theatremonkey.com/FESTIVALHALLstalls.htm
It also has load of reviews of other venues too.

I'm chuffed! Rear stalls for Monday and Front stalls for Tuesday.

Wonder if Michael Jackson is one of the special guests?
