Are they taking the show on the road or do we have to fly there? Sound great. I'd love to see lazer guided live, mainly because I've seen many songs from lagwfis live already, still this is going to rock. Special guests eh? Cool

If anyone wants a hotel just book a travelodge. www.travelodge.co.uk

You can get a 3 person room for as little as £19. Never usually more than £60. They have different sales all the time, probably cheaper to wait before booking so they have a sale for october.

Same for flights, depending where you're coming from Ryanair are the cheapest most of the time. They tend to have sales for the month of the flight about 2/3 months beforehand.

Ditto me for PMing me the presale details – I've been on the mailing list since I first got the internet in 1998! If anyone is kind enough (can understand why you'd be reluctant to post it directly on here, or post it at all if it's personalised!) it will be my pleasure to make them a couple of mixtapes and buy them a pint at the RFH... :P

I ran into someone last night who said she once saw Ladies and Gentlemen We're Floating in Space played at some private show in some little town somewhere in Europe. Don't know if that's accurate or not. I'm sure it will be really good. Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space, Come Together, I Think I'm In Love, Electricity, Broken Heart, and Cop Shoot Cop are usually good at the shows. I'd be most interested to hear The Individual and Home of the Brave. Have fun.

It'll be my last day of my vacation in San Fran on Wednesday so hopefully will be able to book tickets before I fly back home. It'll give me something to smile about on the 11 hour tedious flight if I manage to get tickets ok! This could turn out to be one of the best year for gigs, what with Neil Young playing Hyde Park, seeing the Scream, Deerhunter, Lambchop and Malkmus in San Francisco and hopefully going to Primavera.

Looking forward to this..... and wondering if they'll play anything special after the Ladies & Gentlemen set.

They played this at The Astoria the day the album came out, the only time I've heard it live. I'm looking forward to hearing Cool Waves & Stay With Me... these are the ones I've never heard live. :)

Fair comment, but I am not really a message board/internet type of person and its only as I am on my week off I accidentally stumbled across this gig, as See Tickets sent me an email as I attended the Union Chapel gig.

I follow loads of bands, but unless their tour announcements are in the paper, I sometimes miss it.

So...if anyone does have the pre-sale info and would like to send me it, then that would be great. If not, also fine and I will have to slum it with the masses on Thursday.

Get a grip, the Royal Festival Hall is a fairly big venue and I'm sure you'll get your ticket. This elitist crap realy winds me up. Spiritualized aren't the biggest band in the world and the only people who bother visiting this site here are fans. Personally I've received the password but I won't post it for the sake of fairness. But sort it out. Let's just all hope that the knobs who danced about down the front last Festival hall gig or the very annoying person sat a few seats from me who wanted to get up every 5 minutes don't get a ticket.

no ones talking about elitism, i'm on about the bastards who'll buy tommorow and then sell the best tickets on ebay for hundreds when it sells out, and it will fast, as every head will want a ticket for this.

and I hope everyones off their head and the place goes nuts and its like gigs used to be, before we all started going to the elitist venues, moaning about smoke, rubbing our chins and paying £35 for the privelage

I guess they might well be in use in this instance, but it would be fantastic if they opened up the choir seats behind the stage, that would make the total capacity to about 2900, with about 200 on the guest list they'll still be plenty to go round, at least the views and acoustics from all areas at the RFH are great .

strange that when they played there last (as Andy said the time with the very embarrassing dancing) it didn't seem to be more than about two thirds full

Timing is really bad for me I must admit but I'm doing all I can to sort it. A Monday night? Man - that's about as awkward as it gets! First problem is getting tickets, next is everything else like time off work and a babysitter...

I think we've done well to keep the more important parts of the email and password off the forum - mainly for the tout reasons.

I know LAGWAFIS is an important album for many people, but I'm still going to keep on hoping for a full Lazer Guided Melodies at some point! Curiously the date I saw on the LAG tour was the worst performance I've ever seen Spiritualized do...

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I thing the term banded around at the time about that was 'indie disco'. It was so annoying i remember those guys were completely mashed. It did spoil that show for me.
