Oyafestivalen

Post by CinnamonBoy »

I just thought I'd share with you the setlist from yesterdays concert in Oslo and some personal thoughts: The band was brilliant, the audience OK, the sun was shining and the beers were cold. 'I Think I'm In Love' was the highlight of the show together with the ending. It took a couple of songs before things loosened up. The version of WWJ was definitely not the most inspired one I have heard, but from 'Come Together' (which got a good reception from the audience) and onwards it just got better and better, and the finale was...deafening and breathtaking!

Spiritualized played right before headliners Ralph Myerz and The Jack Herren Band on the biggest stage. I think they played for about an hour or slightly shorter...much too short of course :(

Cheapster
Walking With Jesus
Lord Let it Rain On Me
Come Together
Oh Baby
I Think I'm In Love
Take Your Time
Smiles/Things'll Never...

And here are a few pictures:

I have no idea who the bass player is. Anyone??

Also, a lot of new pictures have been added to the gallery I linked to in the first post... they seem to add new ones every day.

"I think I'm in love" was definitely the highlight for me too. And the ending was mindblowing to say the least. Gutted that they weren't headlining though. Jason seemed to enjoy it very much, don't think I've seen him so intense and focused for a while. And the band were really really tight.
