Retro Mechanical Labs : Electron Fuzz

Post by TheWarmth »

I just received this Retro Mechanical Labs Electron Fuzz. I'd been scoping out the website and various pedals since last summer and finally pulled the trigger. $229 including shipping. Not bad. This thing is a monster. It's silicon based. HUGE, massive walls of sound. The feedback knob can create insane, fucked up sounds, which will be fun. The VU meter is a nice touch, is primarily an aesthetic one. I'll definitely consider buying more RML stuff. Going to run this at full volume at rehearsal tomorrow night.

Awesome. Loud as hell. Cuts through the mix for solos. There's a low-cut switch, which I had to engage in order to get a brighter tone, but with it off, you can get really sludgy, doomy kinda tones.

Excellent. I'll definitely need to look up some demos of it.
