The World Naked Bike Ride

Because Portland is very liberal this event comes to our city every year (see link below).

For some odd reason we always seem to find ourselves somewhere near the riders...whether we are crossing a bridge, riding our own bikes (clothed!), at a bar or restaurant, out and about in the city etc. Yes, it always brings a smile to one's face...especially my kids who think it is outrageously funny. BUT, and this is it...I honestly have no problem with public nudity whatsoever...BUT, why is it that the people who choose to bare all in these events are people you really do not want to see naked? Also, to be completely honest....a naked man sitting on a bicycle seat really is not a pleasant image. It just does things to the male anatomy that is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye!

happens in brighton every year, sometimes more than once. i find if you are unfortunatly caught in town as they are going through i find it's best to keep eyes chest up. it all seems quite pointless to me
