This looks very interesting and is for a cause that I'm sure most on here will find worthy, a chance for small indie labels to recover some cash from the arson attack on the PIAS building during the "riots". Gutted I can't make it, away for my Auntie's 60th Birthday party... rock and fucking roll!!
Anyway, here's a link:-

Highly recommended if you're around.. I'm done in London for a wedding so worked out well!
Great atmosphere at the fair, and got some ace records

What did you manage to pick up Jake? Was it well attended? Wished I could have made it.

I was really impressed with the record fair, the labels and Rough Trade had some great stalls and everybody had a great mix of records, CDs, t-shirts as well as test pressings and rarer releases... stalls also had some great deals, badges, samplers and Angular Records had a tombola!!Shinesalight wrote:What did you manage to pick up Jake? Sonic Cathedral, Stolen Recordings, Fabric, Domino, Chemikal Underground, Angular, Ninja Tune and others were there, Rough Trade had a stall too
From Rough Trade I got:
Mugstar remixed by Robert Hampson 12" on green vinyl
Four Tet/Burial - Moth/Wolf Cub 12"
Factory Floor - Remix Series 2 on 12"
The lovely lady on the stall also gave me for free the Carlton Melton mixtape they had available - this was typical of the friendly nature of the day
From Sonic Cathedral:
The Early Year - Complicity/Fallen Star 7" on pink vinyl
From Domino:
Peaking Lights remix 12"
Steve Mason & Dennis Bovell - Ghosts Outside
From Ninjatune:
The Bug - London Zoo double album on vinyl
From Fabric:
Shackleton - Fabric mix CD
T-shirt
Great day and made me miss living in London, it was luck I was down on the day!!

Just had an email from Sonic Cathedral to say they'll be in attendance at this again but with more than just musical treats!

Looks great! I haven't heard of this event at all so may well take a train journey into London for it on Sat or Sun.
Spitalfields is a fantastic area anyway, and there's the big Rough Trade store a short walk away........always tempting!
