D I O N
This should probably go in 'Announcements'
On Saturday evening after an epic 30 hours my wife Jane gave birth to DION, a beautiful healthy boy. He was 12 days late to begin with so obviously takes after his father. Hopefully they both come home tomorrow. Even after four days of no sleep we're still running on low level euphoria. The best feeling in the world x10000. Been an incredible journey over the last nine months, but really it's only just begun. All the staff at the Aberdeen Maternity Unit were absolutely amazing, massive heartfelt thanks to the midwives and the theatre team. We owe you everything.
Get this - the music she asked to be played throughout the most was none other than Sweet Heart, Sweet Light. That must have been played over 6 times on Saturday alone - which suggests it must go particularly well with gas 'n' air and morphine...
Sleepless nights beckon - all the best X

I'm going to be a first time Dad too in January and am trying (and failing) to curb my record buying as we'll. if I've completely misread your post then sorry, and good luck with whatever else it is.

Brilliant news to you and yours and a huge welcome to Dion! Enjoy and savor these moments for as cliche as it is - they will fly by. It still amazes me that my daughter started high school this year and my son is now in 7th grade.
